TIBURON, CA

This is my family’s home, and was a multi-year renovation of an original adobe cottage situated a few miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the Bay Area. Although we significantly expanded the home’s footprint, our priority was on creating cozy destinations and spaces that are frequently used—nothing “off limits” or too precious. We designed for hosting, whether fire pit s’mores, formal holiday dinners, or garden parties, and emphasized the indoor/outdoor connection that’s a celebrated way of life in Northern California.
